Picsbary: AI Photo Editor & Studio (“Picsbary,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is an all-in-one AI image generator and professional photo editing studio. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about the limited information we handle.

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the Picsbary mobile application (the “App”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

We designed Picsbary to collect as little personal information as possible. We only collect what is necessary to provide the service you request.

a. Account information

Picsbary requires you to create an account to use the App. When you register, we collect your email address and authentication credentials (a securely hashed password, or a token if you sign in through a supported provider). This lets us create and secure your account and allow you to sign in across sessions.

b. Text prompts you enter

When you use AI generation features, the text prompts you type are processed to create the images you request. Prompts are used only to fulfill your request and are not used to build advertising or marketing profiles about you.

c. Information we do not collect

• We do not run third-party advertising, and we do not collect advertising identifiers.
• We do not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs to profile you.
• We do not collect your precise location, contacts, call logs, or SMS messages.
• We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

To let you choose images to edit, the App asks for permission to access your device’s photos and media. You are always in control of this permission and can grant or revoke it at any time in your device settings. We access an image only when you specifically select it for editing.

Edited and generated images are saved to your own device storage. You decide if and when to share them. Because photo editing happens on your device, we cannot see the contents of the images you work with.

We use the limited information we collect to:

• Create, maintain, and secure your account and log you in.
• Provide AI image generation from the text prompts you submit.
• Operate, maintain, and improve the App’s features and reliability.
• Respond to your support requests and communicate with you about your account.
• Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

Where the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, we process your information under the following legal bases: performance of a contract (to provide the App and your account), your consent (for example, photo access permission, which you can withdraw at any time), and our legitimate interests (keeping the App secure and functional).

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only in these limited situations:

• Service providers. With trusted vendors who help us run the App (such as cloud hosting and the AI model provider that generates images from your prompts). They may process data only on our instructions and only to provide their service.
• Legal reasons. When required by law, regulation, legal process, or a valid government request, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of our users or the public.
• Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you where required by law.

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Text prompts submitted for AI generation are retained only as long as needed to fulfill your request and operate the service. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize the personal information associated with it, except where we must retain certain data to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. You can help protect your account by using a strong, unique password and keeping your device secure.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, update, or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to request a copy of your data (portability). To exercise any of these rights, contact us at levinkathar@gmail.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You will not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

You can also control the App’s access to your photos and media at any time through your device’s system permission settings.

Upon verifying your request, we will delete your account and associated personal information from our systems, except for any information we are legally required to retain. Images already saved to your own device are under your control and can be removed directly from your device.

Picsbary is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

Picsbary is operated from India. If you use the App from outside India, your information may be processed in India or in other countries where our service providers operate. These countries may have data protection laws different from those in your jurisdiction. Where required, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.

To generate images from your prompts, the App relies on a third-party AI model provider. Only the text prompt necessary to create your requested image is sent for processing; your device photo library is not shared. We also use cloud infrastructure providers to host account services. These providers are contractually bound to protect your information and use it only to provide their services to us.

If the App includes optional in-app purchases in the future, payments would be handled by the Google Play billing system in accordance with Google’s privacy policy, and we would not receive or store your full payment card details.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this policy and, where appropriate, provide additional notice within the App. Your continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
